How we handle your data

Sign-in is handled by our managed authentication provider. Passwords are never stored in our database — only secure hashes managed by the provider. Each student account is scoped to its owner; coursework, submissions, and certificates are only readable by the student and the instructor.

Your name, email, optional avatar, lesson submissions you upload, exam submissions, instructor feedback, and a record of which lessons you've completed. We do not sell this data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.

Tuition payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We do not store card numbers — Paddle handles card data, tax calculation, and invoices. We keep a record of which semester you paid for so we can grant lifetime access to that semester's lessons.

Files you submit for grading are stored in a private storage bucket. Only you and the instructor can read or modify your files; other students cannot.

When you complete a semester, you receive a certificate with a unique verify ID. Anyone with the verify ID can confirm the certificate is genuine at /verify/<id>, but the rest of your enrollment data is not exposed.

To request account deletion, a copy of your data, or to report a security concern, email school@3dgoldsmith.com.

General questions about enrollment, tuition, refunds, or the curriculum can be emailed to school@3dgoldsmith.com. We typically reply within 1–2 business days.
